I have been teaching for over 10 years now and have worked in a wide range of different schools in Nottingham, Birmingham and Worcestershire. Growing up I was always told that I should teach, but followed a different pathway into project management for a number of years before biting the bullet and retraining. I have not looked back since. I love being with children and watching them grow in skills and confidence. The role of Head Teacher here at Clent is a great privilege and I have a fantastic team of staff working with me to achieve the very best outcomes for the children in our care. I love the fact that the role is so varied - there is never a dull moment!
Outside of work I have a husband, son and crazy dog that I enjoy spending time with. I also enjoy walking in the local countryside and reading.
I teach Maths to years 4 and 5 and French and Theology to Key Stage 2. Teaching is a second career for me. I used to be a solicitor specialising in Education and Charity law.
No day is ever the same in teaching – always full of delights and challenges! I consider myself to be extremely lucky - I absolutely love my job.
Outside school I love to go running, horse-riding, skiing, walking my dog and dancing. I go to the theatre as often as possible and have always got a good book on the go.

Louise Campbell-KellyAsh class teacher
My name is Louise and I teach Ash Class, which is mixed Year 1 and 2. I have been teaching for 4 years, in both, Year 1 and 2 at previous schools. I enjoy teaching Key Stage 1 and watching the children's confidence and independence grow in an engaging learning environment. I am interested in all aspects of teaching, but particularly in supporting children to write and to develop their own love of writing. I also like to teach Science as it gives children a wide range of skills that are useful in other areas of the curriculum and their own lives.
When I am not teaching, I spend a lot of time looking after my pets at home which include; 6 chickens, 5 rabbits, 1 cat and 1 guinea pig. At the weekend, I spend a lot of time going to see my family or my family coming to see me.
